I am not a pro in Illustrator, but I have some experience over the years. Hopefully this is the right place to ask?
Anyways, I was wondering what would be the best way to achieve a certain look. I am trying to mimic the chiped stone look of older Legend of Zelda logos. I know I wont be able to hit the same level of detail, but somethign similair. I havent tried anything yet, but was just trying to get some general direction. I know I can do some stone textures, but what I am not sure on is the best and most effecient way to get those chips, and the roughed up white line edges. That all folow a sort of directional light and shading.
I am using CS6.
