Illustrator CS5 Place command

Hi I have this problem in the version CS5 with the "Place" command (menu File).

Each time that I use this command appears a dialog showing the Documents Folder  . It doesnt remember the folder where the last image was used .

I formated the computer and installed the Adobe Desing Standar CS5 but this issue continues . none of mi partners have this problem and I didnt see any similar issue .

Can you help me Please ?
