Is there a preference in Illustrator CS6 which will apply a shift-clicked eyedropper on a gradient or bitmap and apply it to a selected vector shape (like a square)?
Note:
All my eyedropper options are selected.
The shift-click does update fill color in the tool bar and color window.
This behaivor is the same for eyedropper shift-clicking within a gradient and a bitmap
CS5 applies it.
Below is a screen shot just after a shift-click with the eyedropper. I've never seen illustrator have a color in the tool bar palette that was not applied to single selected shape.
