Rhino import into illustrator looks pixelated

Hi,

I'm fairly new to illustrator so it might just be my lack of experience thats the problem here-

I save a file in rhino as an illustrator document and when I actually open it in illustrator its completely pixelated, i have tried changing the view, the line width and tracing over it- nothing works. I thought it was just my illustrator but when i open the file in photoshop I have the same, if not worse, problem.

Help or comments would be really appreciated
