Printed Banner document settings?

Hi guys,

I've been using Illustrator for quite some time now.

I recently got an assignment to design a printed banner (bunting), with the end product size of 3' x 8' (feet).

I was wondering about the document settings I should put in to illustrator before I start designing.

Please let me know, thanks guys!

Any tips and tricks on this would be great. I've never dealt with large printing before. So any great advice would be appreciated. Image may be NSFW.
