I work at a print shop were we are prominantly a PDF workflow. We have a customer who uses InDesign for the major part of their print needs. We have been experiancing that if we open their ID PDF in Illustrator to make minor changes and the file has a gradient build, the gradient drops out of the file. Is anyone aware of this issue and is there a work around for this not to happen.
