Recent changes in Illustrator is for me a light in a dark tunnel clicking the illustrator.
I really congratulate and thank! team Adobe Illustrator.
If anyone else considered the second step?
Example of operation:
1. Select Tools Direct selections.
2. I hold the alt key and double-click to add the first node of a new path.

3. Likewise, in the second place but click ones and create a new path.
(in this mode, the tool functions as a "Pen Tool")

This idea is certainly nothing subtracted from the current functionality of tools Direct selections.
In my opinion, definitely reduces the number of clicks or change tools when creating the result collects the functionality of many other tools stashed in the toolbar.
