I think I have to use a mesh gradient as I wasn't particularly satisfied about trace results. At least the tracing results need a lot of work after tracing (I think).
Anyway, the s-shapes in the wings are not easy to gradient mesh.
I mean, when I pentool a shape around the wings, the lines within are not automatically placed right.
Gradient meshes don't like 's-shapes' so it seems.
Anyway, I was thinking about to chunk it down and gradient mesh different part of the s-shape. But I was wondering about overlaps.
