Hi, everyone. I work in a prepress/production facility and need a good way to keep fonts packaged with the job when they are not sent with the file. Main reason for this is because the files get passed through multiple people and computers before heading to production and no two computers have the same fonts.
We currently have to manually hunt fonts down in our font books and copy them over to our job folders if the file is in Illustrator. InDesign makes it easy to find fonts with the "Reveal in Finder" option so i'm wondering if anyone has decided to make a plugin for Illustrator to mimic this. Any and all suggestions are welcome! I appreciate any help I can get with this.
