Why did this preference change?

Installing creative cloud in a group of 6 has gone good so far.  I am looking to change the way the grid works in Illustrator.  I previously would go into each user's preferences file and change two values /isRulerin4thQuad and /isRulerOriginTopLeft.  I don't see that option in Illustrator CC.  Has anyone looked over this and found a fix?  I tend to like positive going up just like everybody in the worgroup who has learned since Illy 10.
