Error message aggravation
Illustator CS3 XP Pro 4 gig ram
I get this error message when opening Illy CS3:
"The operation cannot continue because of an unknown error. IMP"
Then click OK and a second message appears, "An error occurred while processing the appearance of an object." I click OK again and the message goes away. Then I proceed to work. I select some art to delete with the white selection tool, hit delete and the same error procedure starts all over again. The art finally deletes, but the error messages keep coming on virtually everything I try to do. Then will stop and start all over again.
I have two internal drives besides the program drive selected as scratch disk and secondary scratch disk. All other programs work fine.
Any ideas?

Illustrator Keeps Crashing
Hi guys, I have two computers that Illustrator constantly crashes on. There's not really anything repeatable that I can do to make it crash, it's just an intermittent / seemingly random problem that causes Illustrator to run very slowly and stop responding. I looked around in event viewer and saw the following log:

My adobe illustrator app keeps on crashing and says that it is unable to identify the crash? Is there a way you can fix this crash or can I fix it?

Type >> Find Font (window flashes and never comes up)
Since 2015.3 have had this issue on my computer and a few other over here. 2015.3.1 did not help any and we are on Mac 10.10.5. After restarting the Illustrator it works, but should not have to do this so often.
Has anyone else been experiencing this, wondering if it might be a font we font use often here or if others are experiencing this.

Chinese Font Download Request on App Launch
Ever since updating to Mac OS Sierra I receive multiple font download requests upon launching the Illustrator App.
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3 needs to download the font “LiHei Pro”.
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3 needs to download the font “Hei”.
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.3 needs to download the font “STHeiti”.
Never seen anything like this before so I've been clicking skip for each.
Am I required to download these fonts to use Illustrator or is there a way to prevent these pop-up request ever time I open the app?

Illustrator CC 2015.3 and other apps Crashes on Launch
Hi,
I am experiencing the above named problem when opening Ai cc 2015.3 and Ps 2015.5
It seems that Ae and Pr 2015.3 works fine.
I needed to downgrade Ai to 2015 and it seems to work on that previous version. Why is that happening and how can I fix this?

Color themes won't update in Illustrator
Hi,
I've had this issue for a month now, had very poor help from adobe's twitter and the specific adobe color forum. My color themes will not update in illustrator, if I click refresh I just get the message 'can't connect to the adobe color website, you may be offline or the server may be busy'.
I've tried everything, full CC reinstall, illustrator reinstall, signed in and out a million and one times, deleted preferences. Nothing will fix this one specific issue. Can someone please help me out as it's driving me insane.

Scale tool doesnt default to uniform
If I hit R for rotate I can immediately start typing in the degrees I want to rotate. I used to be able to do this for scale. Type S for scale and then type in the percentage to scale. Now (the last few updates) it no longer defaults to uniform scale and I have to hit tab twice before I can type in the percentage. Its a nitpicky question but is there a default or preference I can set my illustrator too to re-enable that function?

Pasting objects from one Illustrator file to another creates an error: Can't paste objects. the requested transformation would make some objects too large.
OS: Windows 7
Product: Illustrator CC 2015.3.1
I have a problem where if I copy some vectors from one Illustrator file and paste them into a brand new file I get the error message "Can't paste objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too large."
When I paste the copied data Illustrator takes a few seconds, becomes "unresponsive" according to Windows then comes back to life with that error message. I know there is another thread about this same problem but it remains unanswered. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

STOP KICKING ME OFF!!!!
SERIOUSLY ADOBE!!!! FIX THIS CRAP!!!!
HOW CAN I POSSIBLY BE PRODUCTIVE WHEN I AM CONSTANTLY KICKED OUT OF MY CLOUD ACCOUNT AND MY FONTS GO AWOL EVERY 3 MINUTES??? I GET NO ERROR MESSAGES, I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING BESIDES WORKING IN MY FILE -- ILLUSTRATOR, INDESIGN, MATTERS NOT -- AND BOOM!!! KICKED. LOG BACK IN. CONTINUE WORKING 4 MINUTES. BOOM!!! KICKED AGAIN!!! WASH. RINSE. REPEAT.

THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON MY OFFICE PC WITH WINDOWS 10 -- I HAD A PERSONAL ACCOUNT ON MY HOME MAC & IT STAYED LOGGED IN 24/7. NO ISSUES.

Shotcuts with non-US layout keyboard
Hi there! I am having some trouble with shortcuts in Illustrator.
My problem is the following: I have the English version of illustrator installed, but my PC as well as my keyboard are set to German. Now there are some shortcuts (like hide and show grid ctrl+" ) that require me to use modifier keys in order to use certain shortcuts. " = shift + 2 for example. However it seems like Illustrator will not recognise shortcuts using modifier keys.
Some may ask: Why not use the German version of illustrator then? Because it ****. All tutorials you can find online are in English, furthermore when using expressions in After Effects they wont work with different languages, because they effects are named differently in different languages (thank you for thinking ahead, Adobe!).
Now I found a thread over in the Photoshop help forum from 2008 where someone had the same problem ... and I guess there are even more. However I failed to find a solution other than "connect two keyboards to your computer" or "have fun remapping your shortcuts (especially fun in After Effects, where you have to manually edit a .txt file)". However there might be some easier possibility that I might have overlooked, since quite some years have passed since 2008. I would be grateful, if someone could share such a solution with me.
I apologise for being slightly pissed off, but since this problem was already a thing in the year of 2008, I find it hard to grasp that it is still an issue ... !

Save Format Artboards Glitch for CS6
For some reason, when I want to select which artboards to save or export I can't actually click the range button. It looks like since I updated to Sierra, the save dialog freaked out. Please look at this screenshot to see what I'm talking about.

Lenovo X1 Yoga and Illustrator CC
I've just installed Illustrator CC on my laptop Lenovo X1 Yoga. But theprogramisn't working properly, parts of the screen are flashing, 90% of the functions can not be used. The Lenovo X1 Yoga is very strong machine (Intel i5 skylake, 8GB, SSD,...).
It is obviously that Illustrator CC ask for stronger computer then Adobe recommendate.How so!?

illustrator cc makes dotted stroke along outline of image
Hi there,
I am having an issue that when I save my work my image has little dotted stroke black halo around it.
I don't see the stroke on the image till its added to the product .
Noone else on the site products have this issue
