i've noticed that illustrator cs6 (and prior) creates different previews when you "save" vs. "save as".
i am placing an illustrator document into indesign. when i 'save as' the preview is the exact size of the artboard, but when i save, the preview changes (thus moving the placed image). is this a bug, or designed that way (which doesn't make sense to me). i would like the preview to be the same as the "save as" when just saving.
any suggestions, ideas, fellow complaints?
