I'm afraid I am deeply affected by the ease of pattern creation in the long-gone MacDraw II! I have CS5 in a >PC< now.
I drew an illustration in MacDraw many years ago for a book cover, and now have recreated the book in InDesign as a revised edition. The only tricky thing in the drawing is a plaid pattern fill, that I think I made by clicking on pixels in a little box in MacDraw. (I'm talking Mac SE here, also long gone.)
I am sure I will not come up with exactly the same pattern fill in AI, which is okay, but I'd like to know how to come close. Or, if someone knows which path I should take to a plaid pattern in AI, that would save me some time.
Thank you very much.
