I use Illustartor cs5.1 in Mavericks

Problem is that the tools are very faint similar to a 10% grey on screen.
I would do a screen shot, but you wouldn’t see it?
I have tried the ‘Accessibility Preferences’ but does not solve the issue
Tools affected are :
- Type Tool
- Line Segment Tool
- Rectangle Tool
- Circle/Reflect Tool
- Scale Tool
- Lasso Tool
Does anyone here know how to solve this problem?
Any help/advice will be appreciated.
