Is anyone seeing this issue? I'm trying to save an illustrator file in any format. I'm working with a MAC OS X El Capitan.

How to "unblur" a placed PNG in AI?
What settings are to change if a placed image appear blurry in Illustrator? It's not about the image itself, because on an other computer the same image in the same document is perfectly sharp.

Spinning Beach Ball
Why do I all of a sudden get a spinning beach ball whenever I move an object? It usually lasts for a few minutes then I'll move something else and same thing. I tried restarting etc. No plug-in's etc. Using a Mac with version 10.10.3.

Convert bitmap picture into vector (without dots)
I try to convert pixels into vector this way: mark the bitmap image I want to convert with Selection Tool, press High Fidelity Photo/Low Fidelity Photo/etc... near Image Trace in control panel, then I press Expand and expect my image to have smooth corners without pixels' dots' but edges are still made of dots, not of straight lines (you can see it when stretching the image). Do I do something wrong or this is how vector image suppose to look???

circle shape following the path
Hi Guys,
I need to create a circle shape distributed along the curved path, similar to the one on the attached screenshot. I have created it using the envelope distort/make with warp effect, but I have noticed a small distortion of the circle shape.
What would be the best approach in aligning objects along a curved path?

Illustrator would not update, it failed with error 126., it suggested retrying. This also repeatedly failed, I uninstalled Illustrator and started again, this also failed. Are there any suggestions?

I want to buy it as a gift for my sister in high school. Three questions: How does this process work? Is CS6 compatible with iPad 2? Can I get the student price since she's the one using it?

How to make columns wider on bar graph?
Help! I've been trying for days to make my columns wider on a bar graph. I've gone into Object-->Graph-->Type-->Column Width and changed the column widths but no mater what number I put in that area, the columns do not change sizes. I haven't found any other suggestions for how to change these graphs online. I'm running Illustrator CS6 on a MacBook Air 2014. I'm at my wit's end and need to submit these graphs in two days. Please help!

Every time I try to create a new document, I get told that I do not have enough space to even open or create a document.

"Select all" with one character of text doesn't work
I've only noticed this on recent versions of Illustrator: when you have a line of text selected, it is very convenient to cmd-A (select all) to get the whole block of text selected, and then type to instantly change the content text, or select a different font. But with a single character of text - a giant "A" for example, I noticed that behaviour doesn't happen. Is that a bug in the app, or some OS override? I've run into this more than a few times when doing large, graphical text design work.

Feathered edge - is this the best AI can do?
I've always used the blend tool, but just started playing with the feathered edge tool. I've played with this all afternoon, and this appears to be about the best AI can do for me. The pixelation is the size of cereal boxes!
Am I doing something wrong?

Illustrator vector artwork not scaling proportionally since 2015.2.0 update
Since I have done the most recent update to Illustrator C 2015.2.0 my artwork will not scale in proportion, no matter if doing manually or through the scale dialogue.
Width and height values seem to be 'snapping' to some kind of increment values, but I cannot find out where this has been changed in my preferences... any ideas would be much appreciated?

Illustrator CC keeps crashing
New subscriber. All of a sudden today Illustrator crashes while I'l working in it. Using drawing tools, selecting, moving just all of a sudden "unexpectedlly quits"
Please advise I got a brand new iMac and subsribed the other day hopeing to finally avoid crashes. My files are large color intensive but still shouldn't be a problem what I'm doing.

Unable to change tools, unable to draw a circle for example.
OS: OSX El Captain 10.11.2
Illustrator: 2015.2
I'm currently unable to choose any of the different tools.
The ones that already shows up as default ("The Rectangle Tool") for example, work just fine.
But the ones that are a level below (like "The Circle") are unaccessible.
There used to be a small triangle on the corner of each tool that would indicate if there were additional tools to be accessed.
The triangle is gone. And all the other tools that are usually accessible like this aren't available anymore.
How am I supposed to accomplish any work like this?

missing fonts > missing glyphs
I have a .pdf I want to edit in Illustrator, so that I can move a block of text down the page. Opening it in Acrobat shows the complete content; opening it in Illustrator gives a warning about missing fonts. But even the glyphs seems to disappear – I can't select anything where I know the character in the missing font should show up.
Hints and tips welcome!
