i've been buyed the entire suite.
illustrator don't start i've contacted italian assistance chat only....the say a tecnician solve the problem in a week....after 8 days I received a mail saying it's all ok now works....NO!
it doesn't start.
i have an alienware 15 brand new i7 16 ram 970nvidia....someone can help me!

Illustrator CC toolbar 2 columns
Hi there,
since the last update of Illustrator CC Adobe integrated again some "improvements". An annoying one is that the toolbar displays at startup always in a two-column-design, regardless what I have defined in my workspace.
In the earlier version of Illustrator CC i clicked below the selection tool (V, black arrow) to activate the direct-selection-tool (A, white arrow). Because I'm used to this workflow, i click now under the selection-tool and activate the magic wand-tool by mistake. It's really annoying. Since stoneage the toolbar is one column per default. Why is that now different?
Is is possible to set the toolbar as one-column at startup?
Is Adobe aware of that fact that some little changes in the UI-appearance can disturb a longtime workflow? And for what? This kind of changes doesn't improve my productivity in any way...

PDF export producing Misaligned text!
Hi all,
Why is this happening? I just exported a JPEG which came out how it should of been so I can use this workaround- but this was already sent to the printer and wasted 4 SQM of material ink and time! Anyway I would still like to use the PDF format if this can be fixed and WARN people of this happening- Many thanks! James

"File not found" when double clicking an .ai or .eps file
Hello.
I have Adobe DesignWebPremium_CS6_LS6 ME.
When I double click an illustrator fornat file (.ai .eps .pdf) or right click and open with illustrator - I get the following error: "File not found".
I tried to uninstall and install again - but it's still has this bug.

Illustrator CC2015 Global Deleted Color Fix!!! PLEASE!
I have a bunch of files that have them. Tried the old faithful drag and drop which worked 100% of the time in CS6.
Now i have it in CC2015. Any documentation is for CS6 or earlier. PLEASE HELP!!!

select same appearance objects with applescript
Hello,
is it possible to create an applescript to select objects with the same appearance in one Illustrator document? (for example all those which are coloured with 100% of Cyan)
If so, would anybody be so kind to give me a clue of how this should be in applescript??
I would like to select & remove them and save the changes in another path...

No me funciona Illustrator CC ¡Ayuda!
Hola, hace poco me instalé el ilustrator CC 2014, y me funciona todo perfectamente hasta que le doy - Archivo -- Nuevo, nuevo documento, abrir documento- en cuanto hago eso instantaneamente me aparece un mensaje de windows diciéndome que Adobe Illustrator dejó de funcionar, las opciones que tengo son o depurar o cerrar el programa ya he probado a ver que pasa y al final no se me soluciona nada... y no sé que hacer para arreglar esto, si alguien sabe que puede ser agradecería que me ayudara.
Las características de mi ordenador:
Procesador intel core i7 a 2.60 Ghz
Targeta gráfica AMD radeon 5
sistema operativo 64 bits

What is the best practice for finalizing artwork and decreasing the file size, yet maintaining high quality and integrity of the vectorized art. The file has many layers and the logo is finalized now, so the need for all the layers doesn't exist anymore. The file is huge and too large to In Photoshop, there is an option to "flatten" the image, but I cannot find anything similar in Illustrator.

How do I get Illustrator CC 2015 to print 12" x 47" banners with Fiery command work station.
I have set up and saved all the presets and the print previews look correct but all that prints is a letter size image in the middle of the banner paper.
The old CS files print correctly even when I send them to the new Command Work station.

right click not working in CC 2015 version
Anyone else having this issue? Works okay for some of my friends, and not for others, including me. Unable to select an object and right click to bring up transformation options, must use the dropdown. Yes I am all updated, yes I restarted my computer...on a Mac OS X. Beta testing El Capitan but friends who are on Yosemite having the same issue and friends on PC’s as well.

Helvetica Font missing in Illustrator
Hello,
Recently i have started experiencing some issues with Illustrator. Some of the files that i have started opening with a prompt from Typekit saying that Helvetica Bold font is not installed ( i have checked my machine and this font is installed and i can use it in other applications like Word, Excel).
I have tried replacing fonts (with the Find Fonts option) but unfortunately it is not working.
Font was purchased from LinoType and it was working just fine up until a couple of days ago.
I have tried going through the support options (both chat and phone) but had no luck. The phone support is absolutely unacceptable - you get transferred around for about 30-40 minutes, then on hold for another 30 minutes and a the end of it you get a busy tone and you have to restart the call...after doing this twice i gave up on the phone support and started with the chat support. The guys there recommended multiple changes but none of them seem to work - i even got transferred to the TypeKit branch who explained that this has nothing to do with them and after they escalated the issue internally to their more senior guys i ended up with a "please go back to adobe as we don't know how to fix this and it looks to be related to adobe" answer.
Bottom line...after 3-4 days of continuously trying to get support and figure this out i am still where i started from.
Anyone has any ideas or anything similar that happened to them?

I have been getting this message lately. I have a HP Envy 700- 414 desktop with an Intel HD 4600 driver. When I tried to update I was told this is the most up to date version of the driver. This seems to have started after a recent Windows 10 update.

Illustrator cc "ghost line" error
This is happening in adobe illustrator cc.These "L's" appear, and then remain after minimizing, even closing illustrator. So by the end of the day, multiple "l's" are there. We have changed machines, video cards. Same thing still happening.

Can't turn off automatic scaling tool feature in Illustrator...
I'm trying to transform an ellipse. Basically, I need to drag the left edge in a little bit, resizing non-proportionately, so it's closer to being a circle. When I try to do this, instead of the usual functionality, my cursor turns into an ellipse with a dashed line around it and it only lets me scale proportionately from the center (as if I had shift and option pressed down, which I don't). This is driving me NUTS. I just want to be able to manually transform the circle without these things and NEED to turn this feature off.
I am in Illustrator CC. Neither my shift nor option key is stuck in a pressed position.

Moderated Illustrators
I know that the Forum Comments forum may be the appropriate place to comment, but as I rarely post anything outside the Illustrator forum I'd like to ask a question right here.
For a couple of days all contributions that I post in the Illustrator forum are moderated. There is a message that says my answer has been added, but can't be published until a moderator diligently checked if I did not trespass against someone or something.
Is that now a common practice that applies to all contributors in this forum or is there a black list that contains contributors that have been accused to post untrustworthy or abusive stuff?
If the latter, I'd like to know the reasons for that sanction.
