Anyone getting the isn't enough memory (RAM) on Illustrator CS6? I've been using Creative Cloud and have had no issues until today. I have 8GB of memory and I'm running Mac OS 10.7.4.

I have an Adobe CS3 Web Premium. After installing and running the illustrator cs3 this error occurred:
An unknown error has occurred (-108). Adobe illustrator will now quit.
My friend has this problem too. I'd appreciate if you can tell me what is the reason for this problem and how can I correct it and how can I prevent it in the future. Thank you in advance.

Adobe Illustrator error on creative cloud d:-108 memory
I am really having a hard time finding a solution to this problem. I currently experience this issue with adobe creative cloud illustrator program and what it does it converts also my file in lines all the way through.. seems like the file gets corrupted because i tried to open the file after saving it in my desktop and unless i copy and paste it into another adobe illustrator file the images will appear. I know i got memory in my laptop.. but what i am not understanding is the graphics card issue. what can i do?..

During using Illustrator CC 2015 by MAC OS (newest version) and process files such as drap , drop files / layer. I received notification as " Can't finish previewing. There isn't enough memory. ID: -108" - while memory is 16 BG. Please advise me solving this issue

Can't open a new file in Illustrator (Not enough RAM message)
On an iMac running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with 16GB RAM and Illustrator CC15. Every once in a while when I open Illustrator and it is the only program running, I try to open a new Illustrator file and I get the error "The operation cannot be completed because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available." Upon checking Activity monitor there is only about 7GB of RAM being used at the time. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Hi, Ive just been using adobe illustrator and half way through creating a document a pop up came up saying 'The operation can not complete as there isn't enough memory (RAM) available.' My document also changed and became just the outline with out any details. I saved and shut the document and tried reopening it but now it won't let me open that file or any of my files because that pop up keeps coming up. I use the latest update version of mac and I also have the latest adobe illustrator. If anyone knows how to sort this that would be great. Thanks

MEMORY RAM ILLUSTRATOR
Please help! Illustrator won't open my files because 'there isn't enough memory (RAM)' but i have 8gb of RAM on my computer and the particular file i'm trying to open is less than 1MB.
I've quit illustrator and restarted computer but still the same problem....
I'm using the latest Illustrator CC which i have recently updated

Error: Not enough memory
I am working on designing logos in Illustrator right now and I got this error " Illustrator detected an error with your graphic processor software or hardware, and has switched to CPU Preview mode for this session. Click More info to troubleshoot the error." The next message that pop ups says I have no memory. I just switched to a larger SSD and got more memory. I have plenty of memory. This make designing impossible because all of my designs come only outlines. Help please!!

hover over the "type" dropdown and Illustrator crashes
Issue with Illustrator. First a little background, I am running Windows 10 with CS 5.5. Sometimes when I hover over the "type" (in essentials layout/view) drop down at the top of the window in Illustrator it just automatically just crashes the program. Any ideas?

Adobe Color won't sync to color themes in Illustrator
Help I'm stuck.
I can't get the sync to work on illustrator to get myAdobe Color color selections to populate into AI color themes.
I have tried signing out of CC and AI then signing back in but the sync button won't transfer the info.
It says - I'm not internet connected or the server is busy. But I AM connected to the internet.
Does the AI server get busy and shut down?
I need help resolving this issue. Help.

Upgraded to SSD on Macbook Pro (mid 2012) now Adobe cs6 apps won't open
I recently upgraded my Macbook pro original hard drive to SSD, created a back up, moved to SSD, and installed all mac os updates (El Capitan). Once I finished, I got this every time I try to open photoshop, indesign, and illustrator cs6.
Inside the report the error is:

Referenced from: /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Adobe Photoshop CS6.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop CS6
Reason: image not found
Which to me means that photoshop is probably still looking for files on my old hard drive?
Is there any work around or script adobe released for SSD problems or El Capitan problems? I didn't see anything on the forums searching for SSD. I'd rather not have to go through the process of reinstall...

Type Alignment
When you align type to an object in Illustrator it bases the position of the text on something like the base line, leading or something other than the true height and width of the text. The only way I've found to accurately center text to a shape is to convert the type to curves. Then the type looses the reference of the base line (or whatever Illustrator is aligning text to) and the position is correct. For this particular project I want to keep the type as type for future edits.
So as of now the work around I'm doing is to convert the type to curves...(see below) I then align the converted type (cyan colored) to the shape(orange colored rectangle) copy the converted cyan colored type to the clipboard, undo 4 times to get back to the type (white) paste in place (cyan - cntl+F the cyan converted type to get the correct position) then select the type (white) and nudge it into place so it lines up with the cyan colored converted text (which is in the correct position)
Is there an accurate way to align type to an object without converting it to curves and using that as a position reference?

Freezing after moved object
Adobe Illustrator works fine until I attempt to move an object. I've already checked the GPU and that doesn't seem to be the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Illustrator crashes if I change the save destination
I started having a new problem with Illustrator (CS5.1). Everything works okay but when I try to save, if I change the destination folder where I want the file to be saved, the software crashes.
Has anyone got any ideas whey this could be happening?
