The update is downloaded, but when I try to install, I receive a message with the following error code:U43M1D207, and the process is aborted. How do I solve it?

Image trace from line art scan produces double lined strokes
I would like to get a single lined stroke when I scan a line art so that I can get simple shapes that can be filled with color later. However, when I trace the image and expand it, I see double lined strokes instead of a single line. The thickness of the line is small but still AI always produces a double lined trace. If I try to fill the shape with a color, the color is applied between the double lines and not in the overall shape. I have tried to change the resolution of the image while scanning and also after scanning using the Rasterize option under Object. I have also tried changing all available options on the Image Trace panel. Nothing seems to work. I need to generate single lined strokes form a line art.

Illustrator CC help
Hey! Ive been checking out countless tutorials and searched web for help. I just started to use illustrator. Im making logos just for fun. Mainly for videos and pictures. My problem is the saving and exporting. Im working on Mac.
So I got my logo: just plain good logo. I wanna add it to JPEG pictures. Always when I do that and try to save it/export it literally looks like pixels and the picture is really bad quality, the image looks so horribly. I don't know what I should do. What are the right dimensions and best export settings etc.
All my stuff goes to : Facebook/instagram from my phone and computer
1) I did the logo = Should I save it to some kinda file before I can add it to my pictures or can I just copy and paste it in Illustrator = if not = Do I export/save it and what is the best settings for it.
2) For example I got picture of my dog in jpeg and I wanna add the logo to it. How do I do that and when I'm done what is the best export/save file/ settings to do it so I can upload it to Facebook instagram via my iPhone
Ive been struckling so hard with these questions and Im so hyped about this amazing program, but this makes me really frustrated..

Stop the beeping!!!
Seems like if I have something selected and use the keyboard shortcut to zoom in, the hold space bar to get the Hand tool, Illustrator CS 5 beeps. There seems to be so much beeping in the app that I've turned my sound off.
Any way to stop the beeping aside from not using the tools Illustrator gave us!?

Illustrator CS6 - Lagging - extremely slow!!
Has any one experinced CS6 Illustrator lagging and responding extremely slow. For example if I try to move a vector graphic it takes a few seconds before it re-freshes and updates. That goes for about everything re-sizing, moving, editing.....
I know it's not my computer. CS5 worked great. My computer is a Mac Pro running with 16GB of ram and solid state drives.
Any one have any suggestions??

Color Themes not working
Hello, I cannot access my Color Themes in Illustrator CC 2014 when I am the admin user on my Mac. However I can see Color Themes in InDesign. And also when I logon to the Mac as Guest I do see the Color Themes in Illustrator. What do I need to do to see the Color Themes in Illustrator when I am the Admin user?
I have
- synced everything
- signed out and signed back into my Adobe CC account
- uninstalled, reinstalled Illustrator
- uninstalled, reinstalled Adobe CC desktop manager
- restarted the computer
- reset the network
- tried a different network
MacBookAir11, 1.3 GHz i5, 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Problems with standard lines

I have a problem with the lines when I use the brush tool. I want to use the 'standard' line but everytime I try to draw something,

Can I run Illustrator cc 2015.5 with an AMD A6 5200 APU with Radeon HD 8400 graphics processor? The operating system is Windows 10. Illustrator drop down menus are too long with options at the bottom of the menu cut off. Is the problem my processor?

Illustrator artwork/objects disappearing on Mac
Hi all,
I'm using Illustrator CC on my MacBook Pro Retina (2015), running Sierra. Processor is 2.2GHz with Intel Core i7 and I have 16GB of RAM.
Often when using Illustrator (in fact very often, after around 50% of my actions), objects and artwork will be "cut off" and disappear from view, seemingly invisible. This most commonly occurs when I'm zoomed in on an object or group, perform some action, and then zoom out again; when I zoom out, any object that was outside the boundaries of my screen will become invisible.
An example:
I have a few groups of objects scattered around my artboard. I zoom in on one group, leaving the other groups partially out of view. I isolate my intended group, and make some adjustments to the objects in that group. I then exit isolation mode for that group, and zoom out.
Now any objects that were outside of the boundaries of my screen when zoomed in are not showing. In order to get them to show again I must zoom in or out a few times and scroll the screen left or right a bit to shake it out of this weird issue. The invisible objects will then reappear.
It doesn't matter if the missing objects were in a group or ungrouped or anything like that - as long as the object was out of view then it will disappear when I zoom out again. The objects are still there - they just can't be seen. If I cmd+A then I can see the object outlines.
As you can imagine, this has a huge impact on my workflow, having to constantly "shake the artboard around" in order to see all of my work. I never had this issue when I used Illustrator on a Windows OS - only since I got my MacBook. My machine has fairly good specs (see above) and I'm sure it should be able to handle Illustrator without these weird graphical performance issues. It doesn't seem to matter which version of Illustrator or which macOS I'm running; I've always had this issue since I first bought it.
Has anybody else experienced this problem, or does anybody have some advice as to what it could be and how I can resolve it?

What is the best method for uploading graphic designs from illustrator to instagram?
I am able to export the file to my iPhone fine (through airdrop), and the quality is good. However the compression on Instagram causes pixellation in the image. I follow quite a few graphic designers on IG and all their posts look perfect, what are they doing to get this? I've tried scaling to 1080 x 1080, and setting to JPEG (from what I've read) but it's still bad quality. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

White lines in pattern tiles
Hi There
Having trouble getting rid of white lines in my repeat patterns. Turning Anti-aliasing on and off does nothing to change the output. My pix look terrible. Have tried playing with CPU/GPU/Pixel preview and nothing has worked yet. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Thanks in advance. Cheers Bec

Can't acces my digits for editing values
Hello,
A while ago I made this flyer with a friend of mine which is skilled in photoshop. Back then he learned me everything which i needed for possible needed changes editing the information on the flyer. But now, 4 years later the time has come for change and I forgot everything he learned me.
Im trying to customize the prizes of the folder which is shown on the printscreen below. But I cant edit any of these values. The product names can easily be edited with a double mouse click but somehow i cant acces the prices. Can anybody please help me out with this, this would be a much cheaper way to get my folder fixed.

Illustrator cc Novelty brushes not working correctly?
When I use the novelty brushes/borders like the laurel on a line segment, it doesn't work correctly. It makes a series of vertical ovals rather than the laurel shown in the thumbnail. The other novelty brush effects are doing weird stuff too, like bring stretched out and having gaps where it shouldn't. I've tried messing around with the strike settings but nothing has worked.

Illustrator GPU Performance (bad) (CC 2017)
I have a Gforce GTX 970, this is a pretty powerful graphics card. And I noticed that when I have GPU performance on when i'm doing vector patterns that are very complicated there are HUGE HUGE hangs in between moving objects, zooming in and out (click zoom not animated zoom) even just un-grouping objects that aren't even related to complex patterns.
The only thing I have selected GPU Performance is the animated zoom.
At first I thought this was just the complex shapes making illustrator that slow, but after turning off GPU performance the "hangs" stopped completely.
I'm trying to figure out why and how illustrator uses the GPU.
the 970 cards were known to have "4 gigs" of ram but they were really 3.5 gigs, and this causes a lot of games to drop frames and lag once they hit past that 3.5 gigs, there was this huge lawsuite against Nvidia for advertising 4 gigs when the card was really 3.5. So I was wondering does this have anything to do with the performance stuttering i'm having? Does illustrator even use the GFX ram?

Entering space breaks between categories in a Pie Chart
I have been sent an Excel file from a client of a Pie Chart with a series of values, but between each value category are breaks, when I enter a space or 0.00 value in these cells they don't seem to show up on the illustrator Pie. Is there a way to get around this?
